About urbanwallet

Money Is POWER.

In the past five years, the buying power of African-Americans topped $1 trillion*.  With a 27% increase in just five years, there’s ONE thing we know for sure:

We’ve Got The JUICE Now.

urbanwallet is about empowering urban millennials with the tools and strategies to leverage our MONEY.  There’s never been another time in the history of the world where technology can help us bridge the gap between financial literacy and culture.

We ARE The Culture.

We embody it all.  From fashion and music, to popular culture and trends; we’re the catalysts for change and style.  However, we still lack in key areas of economic well-being like wealth, income and homeownership.

When it comes to income, college-educated whites have a median household income of $106,600, significantly higher than the $82,300 for households headed by college-educated blacks in the U.S.
